We run scheduled, refrigerated delivery routes across KwaZulu-Natal, with collection points from the Lower South Coast to Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Port Elizabeth.

We don't deliver to your door — instead, we meet you at your nearest N2 / R61 off-ramp along our route from Durban to Port Edward.

LMC DEPOT DELIVERY
Outside of KZN, we deliver to LMC depots in major centres via a third-party courier service. Risk transfers to you as the customer on our handover to LMC.

WHY DELIVERY COSTS WHAT IT DOES
Getting frozen venison and game safely to your freezer takes planning, the right vehicle and a lot of kilometres. Here is where your delivery fee goes.
A dedicated cold route
Your order travels on our own scheduled route from the Colenso butchery, in an insulated vehicle that keeps the cold chain intact from our door to your collection point.
Fuel, driver and vehicle upkeep
The route covers hundreds of kilometres every second Thursday. The delivery fee goes towards fuel, the driver's time and keeping the vehicle in top condition.
One flat fee per stop
Collection points are a flat R150 however much you order, because we share the trip between everyone collecting at that stop. Off-ramp delivery is R200 as we meet you at your own off-ramp, which adds time to the route.
Third-party courier for major centres
Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth are served through LMC depots. The R650 covers the parcel box (up to 25kg), packaging and the courier's long-haul charges.

Browse the price list, add cuts to your Fridge, and choose your collection point or delivery option.
Freshly Packed & Frozen
Your order is cut, packed, and blast-frozen at our Colenso butchery within 24 hours of dispatch.
Delivery to Collection Point
We confirm your delivery date and send your order out on our next scheduled refrigerated route.
Payment & Pickup
Settle your invoice and collect your order — frozen, fresh, and ready for the freezer.
Arrived thawed? Don't panic
Meat that arrives thawed but is still cold to the touch is safe to put straight back in the freezer. If anything feels warm or smells off, please contact us before you eat it and we will sort it out.
- Cut off for orders is Friday at 5pm prior to delivery week.
- Our delivery route runs every second Thursday and might not run on a public holiday.
- Stock leaves our premises frozen and travels in an insulated vehicle — please collect promptly to keep the cold chain going.
- Invoices must be paid before delivery — no payments are accepted on delivery.
- LMC depot deliveries are a third-party service. Risk transfers to you on handover to LMC; insurance is available at 10% of the value of the goods on request.
